In the blind spots of markets, there are many ventures that should exist, but don’t yet.
In our Venture Studio, we built a systematic approach to identify these opportunities at the nexus of unmet need, technical possibility, and commercial opportunity. We love innovation, but dislike risk.
We develop ventures in a variety of ways - initiated internally by our team or jointly co-created with partners - and approaches - through BIABs and Moonshots.
Our Approaches
We develop and co-develop in Purpose-Private-Partnerships those ventures that should exist but don’t yet.

Replicate existing, proven models in a new context or location, often with our Heartcore Ventures and/or our NGO friends.

Innovative solutions to wicked, unsolved problems, often by looking at the nexus of two issues, e.g. climate and security, or refugees and livelihoods.

We identify high-potential European solutions and systematically explore their viability in African markets.
Through a structured venture-building process, we co-develop joint venture opportunities—validating local demand, adapting business models, and aligning teams and resources for launch.
The outcome: de-risked, market-tested business cases with clear go-to-market strategies, viable unit economics, and defined capital needs—ready to scale.
