Uganda
The WASH Business Lab is a joint pilot by Young Water Solutions and Relevant, funded by VOx Impuls, that helps early-stage water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) businesses in Uganda grow. Young Water Solutions provides capacity building and investment readiness, while Relevant provides loans of USD 5,000–20,000, technical assistance and collections. The Lab aims to build a structured debt pathway for WASH enterprises, show that the sector is bankable, and create a model that can be replicated across Uganda and East Africa.
